Sol-Symonè is visual artist, creative director, and consultant based in her native city of Chicago. A recent graduate from SAIC's Art Preparation program: Re-Tool 21 where she expanded on her skills for arts and cultural development. Through the application of elements of making art and principles of design, she is able to develop concepts into captivating visual storytelling and immersive experiences. Specializing in content creation, web design, graphic design, event programming, and retail space experience. For the past several years, she has been managing and developing small businesses on Chicago's Southside including Currency Exchange Cafe (Now Peach's @ The Currency Exchange), Carver 47 Cafe, and B’Gabs Goodies. Currently she is the Creative Assistant at Semicolon Bookstore & Gallery. She intentionally partners with lifestyle, creative, and community-centered brands and businesses to become recognizable brands, connect with their community, and develop a strategy. Her work is rooted in service to others through assuring that creative businesses and individuals have the resources, tools, and knowledge necessary to elevate.
